The base color and pattern color 2 in this sweater are knitted in Rauma 3-thread and not Donegal merino, which is listed in the pattern. Yarn quantity stated in base color and pattern color 2 is therefore only assumed. Pattern color 1 is hand-dyed Sol in this sweater.

Most people knit tighter on patterns than they do when knitting solid color stockinette stitch. That's why I've included in the pattern that you should go up half a needle size when knitting patterns. Knitting tension varies from person to person and always knit a swatch before you start.
