LinkaWear ™ are ready-made Wilderness Sweaters, created with timelessness, durability and comfort in mind, and with consideration for nature and the environment. I want my designs to fit everyone equally – whether your adventures are big or small, or whether you most want to stay warm.
When I was a child, I dreamed a lot about going on adventures… Through the stories and fairy tales my parents told me, the books I read and the movies I watched, my sense of adventure grew even more. I think many of us can identify with that. Some of us never followed that sense of adventure, while others did, like Kristin Harila.
I met Kristin through our shared love of nature and conservation. Following dreams and ambitions, daring to seek adventure, and Kristin's deep respect for the environment and nature inspired my new Harila collection.
With this collaboration, it felt natural to look to Kristin's second home: the Himalayas. We have drawn inspiration from the 14 highest mountains in the world, and Nepalese weaving traditions.
PS: if you would rather knit the Haril sweater yourself, you can find the pattern HERE .
Shadowfax is inspired by fairy tales, myths and Midgard – the realm of humans in Norse mythology. I have created a simple and stylish design that still carries the magic that one recognizes from the fairy tale world. The sweater is named after Skuggfax, the most powerful horse in all of Midgard.
The design differs from many of my other patterns by using only two colors. This gives the sweater a calm and elegant expression, while being very easy to wear, and perfect with hats and scarves in both strong and muted colors. The result is a sweater that is just as suitable for everyday wear as for going out and cuddling.
Shadowfax is a tribute to adventure, freedom and strength, easy to use and hard not to love!

I designed this sweater together with adventurer Monica Hundseid . We wanted to create something inspired by traditional Norwegian knitting and the hardworking people who have used it throughout history. The checkered pattern has a long history in Norway, and is part of the traditional Norwegian patterns that have been knitted in countless variations over the years. This is our version.
The LinkaWear™ 100% wool moa sweater looks and feels like hand-knitting. It's very airy and therefore great for wearing during physical activity. And it's just as nice to wear in everyday life, or when you just want to enjoy a quiet and comfortable moment.
The Moagenseren was first published as a knitting pattern in 2023 and quickly became popular. If you would rather knit the Moagenseren yourself, you can find the polar variant HERE and the standard thickness HERE. Knitting patterns for children can be found HERE
LinkaWear™ is designed with love in Norway by me, Linka Neumann, and ethically produced by skilled women in Nepal. I am first and foremost a knitwear designer with a big heart for needlework, and my knitting patterns hopefully give many people the opportunity to make and wear good quality knitwear.
My dream has always been to make good wool sweaters and knitwear available to everyone. A patterned wool garment is not only warm, breathable and comfortable; it also says something about who you are. Wool is also one of the most environmentally friendly fibers you can use.
My machine-knitted garments in LinkaWear™ are a silent fight against fast fashion and clothing made from plastic fibers. Wilderness sweaters from LinkaWear™ are created with love, ready to accompany you on your adventures and everyday life!
We'll send you an email when we have something new to tell you about Linka's designs, offers and promotions in the online store!
