This sweater is knitted a little differently. Pattern color 1 and pattern color 6 are the same and then pattern colors 2 and 5 are the same. The yarn quantity given is therefore only an estimate. The hood is orange and therefore an extra skein of orange in this yarn package.

Most people knit tighter in patterns than they do when knitting solid color stocking stitch. That's why I've included in the pattern that you should go up half a needle size when knitting patterns. Knitting tension varies from person to person, so always knit a test piece before starting.

Luna, Vidde and/or Varde from Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk, Lettlopi from Istex, Fivel from Rauma or Viking wool from Vikinggarn.

Amount of yarn
This sweater is perfect for using up leftover yarn. You can also use the same color in multiple places to make a version with fewer colors. For example, you can use the same color for the base color and pattern color 3. You can also use the same color on pattern colors 1 and 6 or 2 and 5 if you want a version with fewer colors.
