Knitting tension

10 cm solid color stocking stitch on Pinne 4.5 mm = 18 stitches

10 cm pattern knit on Pinne 5 mm = 18 stitches

Most people knit tighter on patterns than they do when they knit plain stockinette. I have therefore included in the pattern that you should go up half a needle size when you knit the pattern. Knitting strength varies from person to person and always knit a test piece before you start.

This is knitted in Vidde Lamb Wool Yarn from Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk.
On this sweater, I used the base color in the details in the upper part of the pattern above and I cast off with light orange at the neck.

Base color: 400 (450) 500 (600) 650 grams

Pattern color 1: 50 grams all sizes

Pattern color 2: 50 (50) 100 (100) 100 grams

Pattern color 3: 50 grams all sizes

Double pointed needles 3.5, 4.5 and 5 mm

This sweater has a range of motion of between 5 and 10 cm. If you want a more oversized sweater, go up one size from what you usually wear.
