Katmandugenser - pattern will be sent to you by e-mail
The Kathmandu sweater is inspired by the Hippie Era of the 60s and 70s. Kathmandu was a popular destination for many hippies on the so-called “hippie trails” at this time.
The sweater is knitted in the round, bottom up. The body and sleeves are knitted separately before being assembled into a single piece. Pinne when the yoke is to be knitted.
The Kathmandu sweater has a lot of pattern and several sections on the sleeves and body with three colors. This means that the sweater can easily be knitted too tight. Therefore, be extra careful when checking knitting tension before you start.
