10 cm solid color stocking stitch Pinne 6 mm = 14 stitches
10 cm pattern knit Pinne 6.5 mm = 14 stitches

Most people knit the pattern tighter than they do when knitting solid color stockinette stitch. That's why I've included in the pattern that you should go up half a needle size when knitting the pattern. The knitting tension varies from person to person and always knit a swatch before you start.
