KNITTING SPEED
10 cm solid color stockinette stitch on Pinne 4.5 mm= 18 stitches
10 cm pattern knit on Pinne 5 mm=18 stitches
10 cm in height= 24 stitches

Most people knit tighter on the pattern than they do when knitting solid color stocking stitch. That's why I've included in the pattern that you should go up half a needle size when knitting the pattern at the top of the sleeves and body, and on the yoke. Knitting tension varies from person to person and always knit a sample before you start.

What is the difference between Luna, Vidde and Varde from Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk?

All three yarns are Norwegian-made yarns made from 100% Norwegian wool. The yarns are made from wool from different Norwegian sheep breeds that give different expressions and feel in the garment. You can easily combine them.

• Luna is made of 100% white lamb wool and is the softest of these three yarns. The colors are completely clear.
• Vidde is made of white lamb wool and gray fur wool, which makes the colors mottled.
• Varde is made of 100% fur wool from Norwegian fur sheep. This is a mottled and shiny yarn.
