Knitting tension
10 cm solid color stocking stitch Pinne 6.5 mm = 13 stitches
10 cm pattern knit Pinne 7 mm = 13 stitches

Most people knit tighter in patterns than they do when knitting solid color stocking stitch. That's why I've included in the pattern that you should go up half a needle size when knitting patterns. Knitting tension varies from person to person so always knit a sample before you start.

Yarn : Troll and/or Blåne from Hillesvåg woollen factory.

Yarn alternative : Alafosslopi. This yarn is slightly thicker than Troll and/or Blåne from Hillesvåg wool factory. Therefore, go down 0.5 mm in needle size.

Yarn amount
This sweater is perfect for using up leftover yarn. You can also use the same color in several places to create a version with fewer colors. For example, you can use the same color for the base color and pattern color 3. You can also use the same color for pattern colors 1 and 6 or 2 and 5 if you want a variant with few colors.

Double pointed needles 4.5 mm and 6.5 mm
Circular needles 40 and 80 cm long in thicknesses 4.5 mm, 7 mm and 6.5 mm.
