I designed Moagenser polar together with adventurer, Moa Hundseid. We wanted to create something inspired by traditional Norwegian knitting and all the hard work of the people who used them. The checkered pattern has been knitted in countless variations over the years, and this is our version. The sweater is knitted in the round and round before sewing and cutting up the armholes and neck. The shoulders are knitted together before the sleeves are sewn in by hand. Then stitches are picked up along the neck cutout before finally knitting the neck. Moagenser comes in a thin and thick version for adults, and a thin version for children. Happy knitting!

Work bottom up on circular needles. Sew in sleeves.

Knitting tension : 10 cm pattern knit on Pinne 6.5 mm = 14 stitches.
(The needle size given is only a guide. If you get more stitches than given in 10 cm, go up one needle size. If you get fewer stitches than given in 10 cm, go down one needle size).
