10 cm plain stockinette stitch Pinne 3.5 mm= 22 stitches
10 cm pattern knitting Pinne 4 mm = 22 stitches
Most people knit tighter on patterns than they do when they knit plain stockinette. I have therefore included in the pattern that you should go up half a needle size when you knit the pattern. Knitting strength varies from person to person and always knit a test piece before you start.

Guiding pins
Double pointed needles 3 mm, 3.5 mm and 4 mm.
Circular needle 50 cm or 60 cm long (depending on size) 3 mm, 3.5 mm and 4 mm.
Circular needle 40 cm long 3 mm and 4 mm.
