The Wilderness Sweater Vams digital knitting pattern by Linka Neumann. The original pattern for the Wilderness Sweater, knitted in the Icelandic yarn Alafosslopi, was published in spring 2017. Ever since the pattern was published, people have asked if it can be knitted in Vams. I have therefore now created a new version of the Wilderness Sweater in Vams. Gauge
10 cm of plain stockinette stitch on 6 mm needles = 14 stitches
10 cm of stranded knitting on 7 mm needles = 14 stitches

(The given needle size is only a guide. If you get more stitches than indicated for 10 cm, go up one needle size. If you get fewer stitches than indicated for 10 cm, go down one needle size. Pay attention to the gauge for the pattern).

Yarn Vams from Rauma Ullvarefabrikk (83 meters per 50 grams). Vams is a light and airy yarn made of 100% Norwegian wool.
