Tinde pelt wool yarn from Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk is a lustrous, soft, and airy hand-knitting yarn spun from the wool of Norwegian pelt sheep. Norwegian pelt sheep are a Norwegian breed distinct from the Norwegian white sheep. The wool contains both light and dark fibers, and the dark fibers give the yarn and colors an exciting depth and marling. Color 2115 is the natural color of the pelt sheep, and the other 33 colors are dyed on this base. Tinde Pelt Wool Yarn does not come in white, which is why we have included Sol lamb's wool, which you can find in the color menu.
