Vams is a 2-ply knitting yarn made from 100% Norwegian wool. The yarn is full and airy, creating light and warm garments. It is very easy to knit with and is well suited for felting. Vams is produced at Rauma Ullvarefabrikk in Romsdalen. There, the yarn is washed, carded, twisted, spun, dyed, and wound. They only use Norwegian wool. Norwegian wool is one of the world's most environmentally friendly textile fibers.

One strand of Lamullgarn together with one strand of Vams can be used as a yarn alternative for Alafosslopi, Blåne, and Troll.

Needle size: 5-6 mm
Gauge: 14-16 stitches = 10 cm
Ball: 50 grams = 84 meters
Vams is an entirely Norwegian product
