Knitting tension
10 cm solid color stocking stitch on Pinne 4.5 mm = 18 stitches
10 cm pattern knit on Pinne 5 mm=18 stitches
10 cm in height = 24 stitches

Most people knit tighter on the pattern than they do when knitting solid color stocking stitch. That's why I've included in the pattern that you should go up half a needle size when knitting the pattern at the top of the sleeves and body, and on the yoke. Knitting tension varies from person to person and always knit a sample before you start.

What is the difference between Luna, Vidde and Varde from Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk?
All three yarns are Norwegian-made yarns made from 100% Norwegian wool. The yarns are made from wool from different Norwegian sheep breeds that give different expressions and feel in the garment. You can easily combine them.

Luna is made from 100% white lamb wool and is the softest of these three yarns. The colours are completely clear.
Vidde is made from white lamb wool and grey fur wool, which makes the colours mottled.
Varde is made from 100% fur wool from Norwegian fur sheep. This is a mottled and lustrous yarn.
