In 2017, I launched the pattern for the Wilderness Sweater. Nearly a decade later, this is still my most popular design! I have now finally created a thicker children's version, knitted in Icelandic wool. You can find all yarn kits HERE.

Gauge:
10 cm of plain stockinette stitch on needles 5.5 (6) 6 (6) 6 (6) 6 mm = 14 (13) 13 (13) 13 (13) 13 stitches
10 cm of colorwork knitting on needles 6.5 (7) 7 (7) 7 (7) 7 mm = 14 (13) 13 (13) 13 (13) 13 stitches
(The needle size given is for guidance only. If you get more stitches than stated per 10 cm, go up one needle size. If you get fewer stitches than stated per 10 cm, go down one needle size).

Yarn: Alafosslopi from Istex

Yarn alternative: Troll and/or Blåne from Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk. If you use these yarns, you may need to go up a needle size as they are slightly thinner than Alafosslopi.
