Varde pelt wool yarn from Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk is a lustrous, soft, and airy hand-knitting yarn spun from the wool of Norwegian pelt sheep. The Norwegian pelt sheep is a Norwegian breed of sheep different from the Norwegian white sheep. The wool contains both light and dark fibers, and the dark fibers give the yarn and colors an exciting depth and marbling. Color 2115 is the natural color of the pelt sheep, and the other 33 colors are dyed on this base.
