I have had the honor of creating a collection for Femundløpet in connection with the 2025 World Championship in dog sledding! This collection includes sweaters and small knits. I hope you like the collection and that the garments will keep you warm on many adventures in the years to come. In the patterns, you can choose what kind of dog you want on your sweater, because this is not just a sweater for people with competition dogs, but for everyone who enjoys taking their dog for a walk. Gauge
10 cm (4 inches) of plain stockinette stitch on 6.5 mm (US 10.5) needles = 13 stitches
10 cm (4 inches) of colorwork on 7 mm (US 10.75) needles = 13 stitches

Most people knit tighter when doing colorwork than when knitting plain stockinette. I have therefore included in the pattern that you should go up half a needle size when knitting colorwork. Gauge varies from person to person, so always knit a swatch before you begin.

Yarn: Troll from Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk (if using Alafosslopi, go down 0.5 mm in needle size).
