Gauge
10 cm stockinette stitch with one color, 6 mm needles = 14 stitches
10 cm colorwork with 7 mm needles = 14 stitches

Most people knit tighter when doing colorwork than when knitting plain stockinette stitch. I have therefore included in the pattern that you should go up half a needle size when knitting colorwork. Gauge varies from person to person, so always knit a swatch before you begin.

Pattern color 1: 50 g all sizes

Circular needles 80 cm and 100 cm long (depending on size), 4.5 mm, 6 mm, and 7 mm.
