Gauge

10 cm of single-color stockinette stitch on 4.5 mm needles = 18 stitches

10 cm of colorwork on 5 mm needles = 18 stitches

Most knitters knit tighter in colorwork than in single-color stockinette stitch. I have therefore included in the pattern that you should go up half a needle size when knitting colorwork. Gauge varies from person to person, and always knit a swatch before you begin.

Sweater Measurements

This sweater has a positive ease of between 5 and 10 cm. If you want a more oversized sweater, go up one size from what you usually wear.
