Sizes S/M (L/XL) XXL

Gauge
10 cm stockinette stitch with single color using 6 mm needles = 14 stitches
10 cm stranded colorwork using 6.5 mm needles = 14 stitches

Most knitters knit tighter when doing stranded colorwork than when knitting single-color stockinette stitch. I have therefore included in the pattern that you should go up half a needle size when knitting stranded colorwork. Gauge varies from person to person, so always knit a swatch before you begin.

Yarn: Vams by Rauma

Yarn alternative: Hipwool by HipKnitShop. If you are knitting with Hipwool, I recommend going up half a needle size so the sweater is knitted on 6.5 and 7 mm needles. Remember to knit a swatch before you start to ensure you have the correct gauge. HipWool is a very soft yarn but is much denser than Vams. If you plan to be very active in the sweater, I recommend using Vams as it breathes much more.
