10 cm of plain stockinette stitch on 6 mm needles = 13 stitches
10 cm of stranded colorwork on 7 mm needles = 13 stitches

Alafosslopi

Yarn alternative: Troll and/or Blåne pelsullgarn from Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk. These yarns are slightly thinner than Alafosslopi, so you may need to increase your needle size by 0.5 mm from what is stated. Always knit a swatch before you begin.
