The Wilderness Sweater mid-season (digital pattern)

The knitting pattern for the Wilderness Sweater mid-season, in a thick version, was first published in 2017. Since then, it has been knitted in countless variations worldwide. Now I have created a version in thinner yarn that is more versatile for all seasons. Yarn kits can be found here

The sweater is knitted in fantastic Norwegian wool from Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk. You can also knit it in Lettlopi if you want a more water-resistant version. The Norwegian yarns Luna and Vidde are, however, better for all-around use, as they are considerably softer than Lettlopi. The Wilderness Sweater mid-season is designed for all seasons, but with a special focus on the spring and autumn transitional seasons.

10 cm plain stockinette stitch on 4.5 mm needles = 18 stitches
10 cm colorwork on 5 mm needles = 18 stitches
(The given needle size is for guidance only. If you get more stitches than indicated per 10 cm, go up a needle size. If you get fewer stitches than indicated per 10 cm, go down a needle size).
