Lopi Wool Detergent 500 ml

Lopi wool detergent is perfect for washing garments knitted from Icelandic wool. Follow package insert instructions.

Why wash Lettlopi and Alafosslopi?

Generally, airing garments after use is sufficient, as wool has several good properties, including self-cleaning. If you do need to wash Lopi yarn, soap and conditioner, which you can find here, are recommended.

Lopi Wool Detergent, recommended dosage:

Hand wash: 25 ml (approx. 2 capfuls) in 5 liters of water
Machine wash: 75 ml (approx. 6 capfuls) for a 4-5 kg ​​load

How to use Lopi Wool Detergent:

Hand wash
Dissolve Lopi wool detergent in lukewarm water, approx. 30°C
Allow the garment to soak in the water for about 10 minutes, except for garments made from Plötulopi, which should not be soaked.
Wash gently.
Rinse well or until the water is completely clear.
The water may need to be changed a few times.
Squeeze gently, do not rub or wring out.
Smooth out and lay flat to dry on a flat surface to the correct measurements.

We recommend using Lopi Wool Conditioner as it softens and gives a beautiful texture.

Machine wash
Pour Lopi wool detergent into the washing machine's detergent dispenser, see recommended dosage.
After the program is finished, immediately remove the load from the machine and lay it flat to dry on a flat surface to the correct measurements. Please note that not all garments made of wool and other delicate materials can be machine washed.
