Shadowfax horse sweater (digital pattern)

The Shadowfax horse sweater is inspired by Shadowfax from The Lord of the Rings. A Lord of the Rings marathon is an absolute must when knitting this sweater! See yarn kits HERE. The sweater is generously sized with approximately 15 cm of positive ease. Shadowfax is knitted bottom-up. You can choose whether to knit the front and back in the round before cutting and sewing for the armholes, or if you prefer to knit parts of the front and back flat to avoid using a sewing machine. 10 cm of single-color stockinette stitch on 4.5 mm needles = 18 stitches.
10 cm of colorwork on 5 mm needles = 18 stitches.
Row gauge (colorwork 2 colors) = 20 cm
