Gauge
10 cm stockinette stitch with one color, needle 6 mm = 14 stitches
10 cm colorwork, needle 7 mm = 14 stitches

Most people knit tighter when doing colorwork than when knitting stockinette stitch with one color. I have therefore included in the pattern that you should go up half a needle size when knitting colorwork. Gauge varies from person to person, so always knit a swatch before you begin.

Yarn: Troll and/or Blåne from Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk.
The sweater can also be knitted in Vams or Alafosslopi. If you knit with Vams, you will get a light, soft and airy sweater. If you knit with Alafosslopi, you will get a robust, thick and warm sweater that can withstand some weather. Alafosslopi is a thicker yarn than Troll and Blåne, so you can go down half a needle size from what is stated. Alafosslopi also has a somewhat shorter yardage. If you want a sweater for indoor use, you can, for example, use Puno from Rauma.

Tapestry needle for embroidering duplicate stitches at the end.

Garment measurements
The sweater has approximately 5-10 cm of positive ease. If you want a more oversized sweater, go up one size.
