Okapi sweater adult (digital knitting pattern)

Okapisweater knitting pattern. The Okapi sweater is a "spin-off" of a pattern I created for my interior design book, which was published in 2021. I felt the pattern deserved to be more than just a cushion. I had to work a bit to be satisfied with the pattern, but now I love it and want to knit it in every possible color! The pattern is originally inspired by African patterns, which I find absolutely fantastic. Enjoy your knitting! Yarn kits here

Gauge
10 cm of stockinette stitch on 6.5 mm needles = 13 stitches
10 cm of colorwork on 7.5 mm needles = 13 stitches
(The stated needle size is for guidance only. If you get more stitches than stated per 10 cm, go up a needle size. If you get fewer stitches than stated per 10 cm, go down a needle size).

Yarn: Troll and/or Blåne from Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk. The sweater can also be knitted in Alafosslopi. Alafosslopi is a thicker yarn than Troll and Blåne, so you can go down half a needle size from what is stated. Alafosslopi also has a slightly shorter yardage.

This sweater has an ease of between 5 and 10 cm. If you want a more oversized sweater, go up one size from what you usually wear.
