Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (XXL) Women/Men

Gauge
10 cm in plain stockinette stitch on needles 4 (4.5) 5 (4) 4.5 (5) mm = 19 (18) 17 (19) 18 (19) stitches
10 cm in colorwork on needles 4.5 (5) 5.5 (4.5) 5 (5.5) mm = 19 (18) 17 (19) 18 (19) stitches

Most people knit tighter in colorwork than in plain stockinette stitch. Therefore, I have included in the pattern that you should go up half a needle size when knitting colorwork. Gauge varies from person to person, so always knit a swatch before you begin.

Yarn
Luna, Vidde and/or Varde from Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk, Lettlopi from Istex, Fivel from Rauma or Viking wool from Vikinggarn.

Yarn quantity
This sweater is perfect for using up leftover yarn. You can also use the same color in multiple places to create a version with fewer colors. For example, you can use the same color for the main color and pattern color 3. You can also use the same color for pattern colors 1 and 6 or 2 and 5 if you want a version with fewer colors.
