Clean fjords, vibrant forests, abundant wildlife, and a livable climate. For over a hundred years, the Norwegian Society for Nature Conservation has fought to preserve nature, so that it can also bring joy to future generations. This would not have been possible without the Society's members and local and county chapters across the country. Click here to become a member yourself. Let nature be passed down as a legacy!

Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (XXL) Women/Men

Gauge
10 cm stockinette stitch with one color, needle 4 (4.5) 5 (4) 4.5 (5) mm = 19 (18) 17 (19) 18 (19) stitches
10 cm colorwork, needle 4.5 (5) 5.5 (4.5) 5 (5.5) mm = 19 (18) 17 (19) 18 (19) stitches

Most knitters knit tighter with colorwork than with single-color stockinette stitch. Therefore, I have included in the pattern that you should go up half a needle size when knitting colorwork. Gauge varies from person to person, so always knit a swatch before you begin.

Yarn
Luna, Vidde and/or Varde from Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk, Lettlopi from Istex, Fivel from Rauma or Viking wool from Vikinggarn.

Yarn Quantity
This sweater is perfect for using up leftover yarn. You can also use the same color in several places to create a version with fewer colors. For example, you can use the same color for the main color and pattern color 3. You can also use the same color for pattern color 1 and 6 or 2 and 5 if you want a version with fewer colors.
