Yarn kit - complete with yarn and pattern

NO - EN - DE - FI

This jumper is knitted a little differently. Pattern colours 1 and 6 are the same, and pattern colours 2 and 5 are the same. Therefore, the yarn quantity stated is only an estimate.

The Nature Conservation Jumper! I have created this pattern to raise money for the Norwegian Society for Nature Conservation. I hope you like it! Enjoy knitting. Regards, Linka <3

Yarn kit for the Nature Conservation Sweater, deep dark green, by Linka Neumann. The pattern is available digitally and in the book "Strikk for naturen". See more yarn kits HERE

This sweater is knitted a little differently. Pattern colors 1 and 6 are alike, and pattern colors 2 and 5 are alike. The yarn quantity specified is therefore only estimated.

Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (XXL) Women/Men

Gauge
10 cm stockinette stitch in one color using needles 4 (4.5) 5 (4) 4.5 (5) mm = 19 (18) 17 (19) 18 (19) stitches
10 cm stranded colorwork using needles 4.5 (5) 5.5 (4.5) 5 (5.5) mm = 19 (18) 17 (19) 18 (19) stitches

Most people knit tighter when doing stranded colorwork than when knitting stockinette in one color. I have therefore included in the pattern that you should go up half a needle size when knitting stranded colorwork. Gauge varies from person to person, so always knit a swatch before you begin.

Yarn
Luna, Vidde and/or Varde from Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk, Lettlopi from Istex, Fivel from Rauma or Viking wool from Vikinggarn.

Yarn Quantity
This sweater is perfect for using up leftover yarn. You can also use the same color in multiple places to create a version with fewer colors. For example, you can use the same color for the main color and pattern color 3. You can also use the same color for pattern colors 1 and 6, or 2 and 5, if you want a version with fewer colors.
