XS (S) M (L) XL (XXL) Women/Men

Gauge
10 cm stockinette stitch in one color on needle 4 (4.5) 5 (4) 4.5 (5) mm = 19 (18) 17 (19) 18 (19) stitches
10 cm colorwork on needle 4.5 (5) 5.5 (4.5) 5 (5.5) mm = 19 (18) 17 (19) 18 (19) stitches

Most people knit tighter when doing colorwork than when knitting plain stockinette stitch. I have therefore included in the pattern that you should go up half a needle size when knitting colorwork. Gauge varies from person to person, so always knit a swatch before you begin.

Yarn
Luna, Vidde and/or Varde from Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk, Lettlopi from Istex, Fivel from Rauma or Viking wool from Vikinggarn.

Yarn Quantity
This sweater is perfect for using up leftover yarn. You can also use the same color in several places to create a version with fewer colors. For example, you can use the same color for the main color and pattern color 3. You can also use the same color for pattern color 1 and 6 or 2 and 5 if you want a version with fewer colors.
