10 cm patterned stitch, 6.5 mm needles = 14 stitches
Most people knit tighter when knitting patterned stitch than when knitting single-color stockinette. I have therefore included in the pattern that you should go up half a needle size when knitting patterned stitch. Gauge varies from person to person, so always knit a swatch before you begin.
Yarn: Vams by Rauma.
Yarn alternative: Hipwool by HipKnitShop. This is a good alternative if you want a softer sweater that you don't necessarily need to move around in much. Hipwool is much denser than Vams, which means it breathes less.
