Gauge
10 cm stockinette stitch on 6.5 mm needles = 14 stitches
10 cm colorwork on 7 mm needles = 14 stitches

Yarn: HipWool from HipKnitShop.

Yarn alternative: Vams from Rauma. If you are knitting with Vams, I recommend going down half a needle size so the sweater is knitted on 6 mm and 6.5 mm needles. Remember to knit a swatch before you begin to ensure you have the correct gauge. HipWool is a very soft yarn, but is much denser than Vams. If you will be moving a lot in the sweater, I recommend using Vams as it is much more breathable.
