Gauge:
10 cm stockinette stitch on 6 mm needles = 13 stitches
10 cm colorwork on 7 mm needles = 13 stitches
(The indicated needle size is for guidance only. If you get more stitches than indicated for 10 cm, go up one needle size. If you get fewer stitches than indicated for 10 cm, go down one needle size. Pay attention to the gauge of the pattern).
Yarn: Alafosslopi
Yarn alternative: Troll and/ or Blåne pelsullgarn from Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk (100% Norwegian wool). These yarns are slightly thinner than Alafosslopi, so you may need to increase needle size by 0.5 mm from what is indicated. Always knit a swatch before starting.
You can also use Snorre from Vikinggarn, which is a merino yarn, if you want a non-itchy sweater.
