Alasuq Mid-Season (digital pattern)

Alasuq mid-season! The Alasuq pattern, in its thick version, was first published in my first book, Wilderness Sweaters from 2019. Since then, it has been knitted in countless variations worldwide. Now I have created a version in thinner yarn that is more suitable for all seasons. The sweater is knitted in fantastic Norwegian wool from Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk. You can also knit it in Lettlopi if you want a more water-repellent version. The Norwegian yarns Luna and Vidde are certainly better for all-around use, as they are considerably softer than Lettlopi. Alasuq mid-season is designed for all seasons, but with special consideration for the transitional seasons of spring and autumn.I hope you enjoy your sweater! Happy knitting - Yarn kits HERE

10 cm of plain stockinette stitch on 4.5 mm needles = 18 stitches
10 cm of colorwork on 5 mm needles = 18 stitches
