  • Kathmandu polar with low neck
  • Kathmandu polar with high neck
  • Katmandu polar hood version (extra length pullover and hood)

Katmandu polar is a thick and good sweater that can be knitted as a sweater with a low or high neck, or as a fleece hooded version. Katmandu Polar hooded version has a hood and extra length on the body so that you are dressed for extra cold days. Katmandu polar should have a range of motion of between 10-15 cm. Measure around your chest and add 10-15 cm to the outer width of the garment to find your size.

Katmandu Polar is inspired by the Hippie era of the 60s and 70s. Kathmandu was a popular destination for many hippies in so-called "hippie trails" at this time.

The sweater is knitted round and round, from the bottom up. The bodice and sleeves are knitted separately before being joined together Pinne when the yoke is to be knitted. Katmandu Polar has a lot of pattern and several parts on the sleeves and body with three colors. This means that the jumper can easily be knitted too tightly. Therefore, be extra careful to check the knitting tightness before you start.
